Gastroenterology Opportunity in Palm Beach Area, Florida

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic care teams, part of a well-established GI service line, at Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital West, located in Boynton Beach, Florida.

• Full-Time Opportunity
\n
• Candidate will be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), with fellowship training in Gastroenterology
\n
• At least two years in an inpatient setting is required
\n
• Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
\n
• As a GI Hospitalist, you will oversee inpatient and emergency department consultations, manage GI-related admissions, and provide comprehensive evaluation and care for adult and geriatric patients with acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions, collaborating closely with the GI and hospital medicine teams.
\n
• In the clinic, you will evaluate and manage gastrointestinal conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide follow-up care to support continuity between hospital and outpatient settings.
\n
• Procedures to be provided bedside and/or at endoscopy suite
\n
