Job Title: Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher
Location: McKeesport Area School District
Pay Rate: $150/day (Days 110) $215/day (Day 11 and thereafter)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher to join our this role you will be responsible for creating an inclusive supportive learning environment tailored to meet the diverse academic emotional and physical needs of exceptional students. You will implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) manage classroom routines collaborate with support staff and parents and maintain a positive structured space for student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement differentiated instructional strategies according to student IEPs and learning styles.
Track student progress and maintain accurate records of academic and behavioral milestones.
Maintain a structured inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Collaborate effectively with classroom aides specialists administrators and parents.
Manage day-to-day classroom activities and adapt lesson plans as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid State Special Education Teacher Certification (Required).
Bachelors degree in Education Special Education or a related field.
Experience working with special education students in a school setting preferred.
Strong communication organizational and behavior management skills.
Clear background checks and clearances as required by state law.
