An established and growing industrial company in the Nashville area is looking for an experienced, hands-on SEO Content Strategist to own and grow organic visibility across multiple websites.

What You’ll Do

• Own and execute organic search and content strategy across multiple websites
• Research, write, edit, and optimize SEO-focused blogs, website pages, educational resources, and other digital content
• Develop content around keyword research, search intent, audience needs, competitive opportunities, and topical authority
• Own on-page SEO, including content optimization, internal linking, metadata, and content refreshes
• Identify content gaps and new organic growth opportunities
• Develop content strategies for GEO/AEO and AI-powered search, including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and other LLM-driven discovery
• Build content calendars and translate organic search opportunities into actionable content plans
• Work directly with internal subject-matter experts to turn technical information into clear, compelling content
• Support email, social media, and other digital marketing initiatives
• Partner with outside SEO resources on technical SEO initiatives while maintaining ownership of overall organic performance
• Use GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools to measure organic traffic, rankings, leads, conversions, and content performance
• Explore practical ways to use AI to improve marketing workflows and content development

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, organic search, or digital marketing
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a genuine passion for creating content
• Demonstrated experience personally writing and optimizing content for organic search
• Experience independently developing and executing SEO and content strategy
• Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, internal linking, content optimization, and competitive/content-gap analysis
• Working knowledge of technical SEO concepts such as crawlability, indexing, redirects, schema, site architecture, and site performance
• Current understanding of GEO/AEO, AI search, and how LLMs are changing content discovery
• Experience using Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar tools
• Demonstrated ability to connect organic strategy to measurable results such as traffic, leads, conversions, or revenue
• Experience with broader national organic SEO; candidates whose experience has been exclusively local or franchise SEO may be less aligned
• B2B, industrial, manufacturing, automation, robotics, technical, e-commerce, or product-focused marketing experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Location: La Vergne, TN

Schedule: Hybrid — 4 days onsite / 1 day remote per week
